Being bold and different by turning a slideshow into a manga

A manga-style story and visuals turned the presentation of strategy and network goals into a clear, engaging narrative.

For the 2024 edition of its annual Dealer Meet, Honda Motos marked its 50th anniversary in Switzerland with a bold creative pivot. To honor both this milestone and the brand’s Japanese roots, Morfoz Studios was invited to rethink the entire visual and narrative of the slideshow.

We crafted a fully custom art direction, transforming the keynote presentation into a manga-inspired storyline titled The Odyssey. The creative challenge: turn core business content and strategic goals into a clear, compelling story—without losing the attention of the audience or diluting the message.

Each chapter of the keynote followed manga’s visual and narrative codes. The slides were designed like graphic novel pages, and even the speakers were reimagined as illustrated characters. The result was a playful yet precise narrative framework that helped carry complex messages across in a dynamic and accessible way.

This unique storytelling direction extended across the entire convention, from keynote to breakout materials. The visual system stayed rooted in Honda’s brand identity, while adding a fresh pop culture layer that made the experience stand out.

A one-of-a-kind project—powered by many hours on Midjourney, a few rewatches of Akira and Ghost in the Shell, and a client bold enough to follow the vision.
